FCA is a club that is working to enrich students’ relationship with Jesus Christ. Our
club meetings are held once a month during school hours on club days.​

World in Science Club (5th and 6th Grade)- Sponsors: Williams, Freeman

World in Science only meets after school.​

World in Science club is a club for people who love all things social studies and science. World in Science will meet at least once a month after school until 4:30 that will include experiments, demonstrations, food, and fun.

DIY Club (6th Grade Only)- Sponsors: Williams, McLin

​DIY, do it yourself club, is a club for Live Oak Middle students who love all things crafting and creating. DIY club will meet 4th hour on club days for meetings that will include activities of crafting and fun!

​

Beta Club (5th and 6th Grade)-Sponsors: N. Jones, Templet, Glueck

Beta club is invitation only.  Students must have all A's and B's for all 4 nine weeks from last year's report cards.  Students will need to show a sponsor their report card (the last one that was mailed) or they can pull it up in power school on the computer.  There will be one more opportunity to join after the  first report cards go home this year.

Chess Club (5th and 6th Grade) Sponsor: Reynerson

Chess club meetings will take place during 7th hour on club days to play chess. (This is the same time that the Mathletes Club meets.) Click here for the flyer

4H Club (5th and 6th Grade) Sponsor: Davison, Nester

Learn the values and principles of 4H.  This club meets during 6th hour.

Student Council (6th Grade Only)Sponsor: Workman, Templet

Student Council is a 6th grade-only-club that will meet during 5th period with Mrs. Workman every club day.  During these meetings we will discuss upcoming schoolwide events, school improvement ideas, and more.  The student council will be the voice of the student body when it comes to administrative decisions made on campus.  Application is by invitation only.  ​​

Silent Reading (5th and 6th Grade) Sponsor: O'Neal

This club will meet during 1st hour on club days to read silently.

LEGO Club (5th and 6th Grade) Sponsor: K. Smith

Play with Legos during 3rd hour. (This is the same time as 4H)

Mathletes (6th Grade Only) Sponsors: McLin, Burkett, Stringfellow

Compete against others students and schools in a quiz bowl style setting. Meets 7th hour (This is the same time as Chess Club)

Jr. REACH Club (5th and 6th Grade) Sponsor: Pizzolatto

REACH stands for Respect Everyone And Create Harmony.  Jr. REACH Club's purpose is to bridge the diversity gap on our campus. We meet to create fun activities for and with our school's special education students. We create friendships and cultivate an inclusive culture between students of all walks of life.  Meets 3rd hour (This is the same time as Lego Club.)
